Beginner's Guide

Everything you need to know to start defending against toilet enemies. Master the basics and progress quickly!

Understanding the Basics
Core mechanics every player needs to know

What is Skibi Defense?

Skibi Defense is a tower defense game where you place units (towers) to defend your base from waves of toilet enemies. Each wave gets progressively harder, ending with a boss fight. Your goal is to prevent enemies from reaching your base.

Two Types of Currency

  • • In-Game Cash ($): Used during matches to place and upgrade towers. Earned by defeating enemies.
  • • Credits: Permanent currency earned after matches. Used to unlock new towers in the shop.

Tower System

Towers are purchased from the shop using Credits. Once owned, you can place them in matches using cash. Each tower has different damage, range, attack speed, and special abilities. Some towers are better against certain enemy types.

Your First Steps
What to do when you start playing

Step 1: Redeem All Codes

Before playing, visit our Codes page and redeem ALL active codes. You'll get thousands of free Credits and boost multipliers. Type "/redeem [code]" in the chat to claim.

Step 2: Buy Essential Towers

Use your Credits to unlock these starter towers:

  • • Camera Fighter (1,000 Credits) - Best starting tower, high damage for cost
  • • Large Camera (2,500 Credits) - Good all-around tower for early chapters
  • • Speaker Fighter (1,500 Credits) - Knockback ability helps slow enemies

Step 3: Start Chapter 1

Chapter 1 is designed for beginners. You start with $500 and face 20 waves. Place Camera Fighters along the path, upgrade them when you have spare cash, and save money for the Devil Toilet boss at wave 20. You'll earn 500 Credits for completing it.

Step 4: Learn While Playing

Don't worry about perfect strategy yet. Chapter 1 is forgiving. Experiment with tower placement, try upgrading vs placing more towers, and observe which enemies are most dangerous. Learning by doing is the best way to improve.

Essential Beginner Tips
Important knowledge for new players

Tower Placement: Place towers at corners and chokepoints where enemies spend the most time. Cover all paths but focus firepower where it matters most.

Economy Management: Balance spending on defense with saving for future waves. Don't spend all your cash immediately - enemies get harder as waves progress.

Upgrade vs New Towers: Generally, upgrading existing towers is more cost-effective than placing new ones. Upgrade your strongest towers first.

Boss Wave Preparation: Boss waves (usually last wave of chapter) are much harder. Save money and have your best towers upgraded before the boss appears.

Use Boost Codes: Redeem 2x or 3x boost codes before starting to earn more Credits. This accelerates your progression significantly.

Daily Rewards: Check the Daily tab for free cases and quests. Complete them for additional Credits without playing.

Don't Rush: Take your time to learn mechanics. There's no penalty for losing - you still earn some Credits. Practice makes perfect!

Common Beginner Mistakes
Avoid these pitfalls to progress faster

Mistake 1: Buying expensive towers too early. Save Credits for cheaper, more efficient towers first. Ultimate units are for late game.

Mistake 2: Placing too many towers without upgrading. Quality over quantity - a few upgraded towers beat many weak ones.

Mistake 3: Ignoring enemy types. Flying enemies need anti-air towers. Resistant enemies need sustained damage. Adapt your strategy.

Mistake 4: Not using codes. Free Credits are available! Check the codes page regularly and redeem everything.

Mistake 5: Skipping Chapter 1. Even if it seems easy, play it to learn mechanics and earn Credits. It's designed as a tutorial.
